PRINCIPLE

 

The automated procedure for the determination of the o-Phosphate depend on the well known chemistry whereby ammonium molybdate reacts in an acid medium and catalyzed by potassium antimony tartrate to form molybdophosphoric acid, which is then reduced to the molybdenum blue complex by reaction with ascorbic acid.

The color intensity is measured at  660 nm
